Deakin Studies Online (DSO) is Deakin University's online teaching and learning environment that aims to enhance on- and off-campus learning. See

DSO incorporates a suite of integrated teaching and learning technologies including:

  • Desire2Learn (D2L) = learning management system (LMS)
  • eLive
  • iLecture
  • Turnitin
  • Social Software

It is the Desire2Learn LMS which is the component of DSO which staff and students use predominantly for teaching and learning.
