[AUDIO TRANSCRIPT] |
Marie van der Klooster, is a Lecturer in the School of
Information Systems in the Faculty of Business and Law. She focussed
her project initially on the use of role-play in the online environment
and developed this to a wider focus on publications across Deakin related
to online and distance teaching and learning .
Marie’s experience is of particular interest both as a progression
of experience in online teaching and learning examination and as a description
of research gathering, production and analysis on a university-wide scale.
Anyone looking at a university-wide project would find Marie’s
experience and insight into development of her 2003 work extremely valuable
as she describes her journey across a large cross-divisional and faculty
context :
“The main thing you’ve got to be is fairly humble”
Perhaps most importantly what Marie’s project does offer is the
possibility of a high quality resource that both reflects the university
as a whole and captures experiences for far more extensive use within.
The resources Marie developed can be accessed from the right hand panel.
