Do you cycle, walk or take public transport to Deakin University?

Then register your name and contact details at the Deakin YMCA (Melbourne Burwood Campus and Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus) or on-line and receive a membership card. Scan the card at least once a week to go into the draw to win some great monthly prizes and enter into the end of trimester major prize draw!

How to register:

Drop into the Deakin YMCA (Building HE) and complete an application form. You will then receive a Deakin Green Commute Membership Card with your name and member number. Alternatively you can download the application form and either drop it off to the Deakin YMCA or email your form to deakin@ymca.org,au

How to scan your card:

There are two methods for scanning your Deakin Green Commute Membership Card.

Visit the Deakin YMCA (Building HE, Level 1) and one of the staff members there will scan your card for you.
Email your details including:
- Your name
- Membership number
- Date of travel and how you traveled to campus on that day (i.e. walked, cycled, took the tram) and email with subject heading 'Deakin Green Commute' to deakin@ymca.org.au

Make sure you scan your card at least once a week to be eligible to enter into the prize draw.

Terms and Conditions for Deakin Green Commute

Please read the full terms and conditions below:

1. All Deakin University students enrolled at, and all staff working on the Burwood Campus who walk, cycle or use public transport to commute to and from the campus at least once a week are eligible to enter. 2. Deakin University TravelSmart Team members and their families are eligible for membership but not eligible to enter the prize draw. 3. Students or staff members who take public transport, walk or cycle to the campus must collect a Deakin Green Commute card from the Deakin YMCA, Level 1, Building HE and scan the card at least once a week at the Deakin YMCA during the open and close date for a prize draw to be eligible for that draw. 4. Students and staff members who take public transport to the campus must present validated daily (including 2-hour, 5x daily & weekly Metcards), monthly or annual Metcard covering the open and close dates for a prize draw to the Deakin YMCA when scanning their Deakin Green Commute card to be eligible for that draw. 5. Prize draws will be conducted by Deakin University TravelSmart Team members on the Melbourne Burwood Campus. 6. Winners will be notified by phone or email and their names will be published on the Deakin University Staff and Student Portals. 7. Prizes are to be collected in person by the winners at Level 5, Building J on the Burwood Campus at a time arranged with the Deakin University TravelSmart Coordinator. 8. Winners must present their staff or student ID card and relevant Deakin Green Commute card and/or Metcard tickets on collection of their prize. 9. Where participants give their consent on registration, personal information may be used by Deakin University TravelSmart for future marketing and promotional purposes. 10. Any prize not drawn or able to be collected will be drawn on Wednesday 1st December 2010 and awarded to a participant eligible for that draw.
