Solway bridge over Gardiner's Creek reopens
The Solway bridge over Gardiner's Creek has reopened recently (Friday 23 December, 2011). The bridge provides an important link for walkers and cyclists to the Waverley Rail Trail, Urban Forest Trail, Markham Reserve Trail, Belgrave Road and Malvern Road bike lanes. The bridge was washed away in February 2011 due to flooding.
