Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research)
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) has overall responsibility for research, research training and commercialisation.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education)
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) leads Deakin's ambitious curriculum reform and management of the student experience.

Pro Vice-Chancellor (Planning and Integrity)
The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Planning and Integrity) is part of the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and is responsible for quality assurance and regulatory compliance. The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Planning and Integrity) is the primary liaison with the Australian Government Education Department (currently DIISRTE), the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) and the Australian Qualifications Framework Council (AQFC).

Vice-President (Advancement)
The Vice-President (Advancement) is responsible for a broad range of activities related to building effective and deep community engagement with Deakin’s alumni, business and industry partners and its wider communities surrounding its Campuses. The Vice-President (Advancement) is also charged with building Deakin’s philanthropic support. The portfolio of the Vice-President (Advancement) comprises the External Relations (including philanthropy and alumni), Government and Media Relations and Community Relations teams.

Vice-President (Enterprise)
The Vice-President (Enterprise) has strategic and leadership responsibility for the development of Deakin University's Enterprise Capital. The portfolio of responsibilities includes: Human Resources; Facilities Development; Campus Services; Regional Communities and Commercial Entities.

Chief Financial Officer
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) has overall responsibility for the financial operations of the University; the finance function in Faculties, Institutes and other areas; commercial management; corporate governance; the University's insurance portfolio and the provision of legal advice and services. 

Chief Digital Officer
The Chief Digital Officer (CDO) leads the development and implementation of the University’s Digital Strategy and is responsible for the University's Information Management Strategy, for the provision of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services, and the full range of digital disciplines.

Pro Vice-Chancellor, Faculty of Arts and Education
The Faculty is comprised of the Schools of: Communication and Creative Arts; Education; and Humanities and Social Science.

Pro Vice-Chancellor, Faculty of Business and Law
The Faculty is comprised of the Schools of: Accounting, Economics and Finance; Informations Systems; Law; Management and Marketing; and the Deakin Graduate School of Business.

Pro Vice-Chancellor, Faculty of Health
The Faculty is comprised of the Schools of: Exercise and Nutrition Sciences; Health and Social Development; Medicine; Nursing and Midwifery; and Psychology.

Pro Vice-Chancellor, Faculty of Science, Engineering & Built Environment
The Faculty is comprised of the Schools of: Architecture and Building; Engineering; Information Technology; and Life and Environmental Sciences.

Chair of Academic Board
The Chair of the Academic Board is the most senior elected academic within the University and is the formal point of contact between the academic community and the University Executive.
