Diversity and Inclusion at Deakin presents the inaugural Cultural Inclusion Series.
This seminar is part of a three-part series that provides a unique opportunity to hear from several of our leading academics as they share their knowledge and expertise across a range of topics in the field of cultural inclusion and teaching and learning processes.
Academics will learn about addressing stereotyping comments and behaviours in the classroom as well as topics to understand how to create an inclusive learning environment. Participants can choose to attend in person, watch the live stream online or see the recording after scheduled dates.

Dr Harsh Suri is a Senior Lecturer and Manager of the Learning Futures Team in the Faculty of Business and Law at Deakin University where she leads strategic teaching and learning initiatives. Through her research and leadership role, she is promoting inclusivity and sustainability in evidence-informed practice and teaching and learning in higher education.
She has won several teaching and learning awards, leading the team to win the 2018 ACTS Green Gown Award Australasia under the Teaching, Learning & Skills category, and was a finalist for the Staff Excellence Award. She has over 20 years of experience in higher education and 1440 citations.
