We're pleased to announce that the 2018 MAER-Net Colloquium will be held in Melbourne and hosted by the Deakin Lab for Meta-Analysis of Research (DeLMAR).

Event details

MAER-Net’s 2018 colloquium will be held in Melbourne Australia at Deakin University’s downtown location within minutes’ walk from the Southbank, the Arts Districts, romantic laneways, and some of the world’s best restaurants, outdoors cafés, and shopping.

Meta-Analysis of Economics Research Network (MAER-Net) is an international network of scholars who specialize in or use meta-analysis to understand economics, business and the social sciences.

Deakin’s Lab for The Meta-Analysis of Research (DeLMAR) is a recently-established research centre devoted to developing meta-analysis methods, improving the practice of systematic reviews, applying meta-analysis across the social sciences, health, and business and to raising the credibility of research in these fields. The purpose of the colloquium is to share ideas and methods among meta-analysts and to introduce young scholars across the disciplines to this rapidly growing field.

This events keynote speaker will be Associate Professor Tomáš Havránek (Czech National Bank & Charles University).
