Are you a current university student or career changer looking to become a teacher? This information session will focus on how our education courses prepare you to understand learners of all ages and equip you with the leadership skills you need to be a professional educator. Learn more about our professional program and how it prepares you to be work-ready.
5–5.45pm | Information session: Professional development for teachers
Deakin offers a suite of professional development programs for qualified teachers. With a range of specialised areas, you’ll gain an understanding of contemporary education issues and develop high-level critical and evaluation skills. Hear from our Deakin experts, including Acting Head of School, Dianne Toe, on the following postgraduate courses; Master of Education (Leadership and Management), Master of Specialist Inclusive Education, Graduate Certificate in Education Research and Graduate Certificate of STEM Education.
