Biography
Dr Ameeta Jain is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Finance in Deakin Business School. Ameeta's primary area of research is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and has an emerging interest in changes in CSR space brought about by United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. She has a secondary stream of research in regional sustainability, with works published in ranked journals in both the streams.
Ameeta lectures in property and finance units and has led unit teams in the development and enhancement of units. Ameeta is passionate about teaching and has been rewarded consistently for her teaching excellence. She believes in promoting student engagement to promote deeper learning. In her role as the director of property programs at Deakin, she is responsible for managing industry accreditation for property courses.
