Dr Andrew Torre is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics in Deakin Business School. Andrew has spent quite a number of years in academia in the economics discipline, teaching, researching and undertaking a wide variety of administrative duties, including committee work. Prior to this, he worked in government as an analyst. He has a very strong interest in economic theory and its applications to cost-benefit analysis and legal economics. While the latter is a well- developed field of study in the USA, and to a lesser extent Europe, it is still in a fledgling state in Australia.
