Research interests

Originally educated in Germany (Humboldt-University Berlin), Antje completed a Master of Laws at the University of East Anglia (United Kingdom). Having been awarded a full scholarship she obtained her PhD from the University of East Anglia (UK).  During her doctoral studies, Antje worked as a research associate at the Centre for Competition Policy (Norwich, UK), where she undertook quantitative and qualitative research.

Antje’s main areas of research interest focus on how competition and regulation policies can ensure access to essential services. Being exposed to different jurisdictions is reflected in her research, as Antje is particularly interested in comparative work.

Antje teaches in the areas of competition law and policy, criminal law and criminal procedure.

Antje is a member of ASCOLA (Academic Society for Competition Law).
