Biography summary
Enayat A. Moallemi is a Research Fellow at Centre for Integrative Ecology, Deakin University. His research is focused on computational and participatory approaches for modelling socio-ecological systems under deep uncertainty. Enayat's research is applied to a range of areas — including renewable energy systems, sustainable mobility systems, and pathways to the Sustainable Development Goals — for informing robust decision making.
Enayat obtained his PhD from the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Group, Department of Infrastructure Engineering, at the University of Melbourne (2013-2017), where he worked on model-based energy policy analysis. In his PhD, Enayat developed a transition-theoretical framework and an exploratory system dynamics model for investigating future energy transition pathways under uncertainty. Enayat was a visiting researcher at the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management, TU Delft in May-July 2016 and a visiting research at Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI in Karlsruhe, Germany in April-July 2018.
