Biography
Dr. Gayani Karunasena completed her B.Sc (Honours) degree in Quantity Surveying and MPhil degree in Construction Information Technology at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, in 2001 and 2006, respectively, and read for her PhD in Construction and Property Management at the University of Salford, UK graduating in 2013. Current research interest focuses on waste management mainly in liquide waste in construction industry through involvement of stakeholders for streamline the liquide waste management procedure. Further application of circular economy principles for waste reuse, recycle and exchnage for better management of construction waste.
