Biography
Helena Wang received her PhD degree from the School of Chemical Engineering, The University of New South Wales (UNSW) Sydney Australia in 2019. She was appointed as Postdoctoral Research Associate in the School of Chemistry, UNSW Sydney in 2018 and a Research Fellow in the Applied Chemistry & Environmental Science at RMIT University in 2021, Melbourne. Current, she is an Alfred Deakin Research Fellow in the Institute for Frontier Materials (IFM) at Deakin University, Melbourne. Her research interest lies in the interface between Chemistry, Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, with focus on the design and characterization of functional porous materials, metal/bimetallic alloy nanoparticle supported materials and their applications in energy conversion and storage, renewable chemical and fuel production, as well as mechanism study via in-situ spectroscopies.
