Biography
HieuTrinh obtained his BEng (Hons), MEngSc, PhD degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, all from The University of Melbourne, Australia in 1990, 1992 and 1996. He joined Deakin University in Jan 2001 where he is currently an Associate Professor. His current research activities include systems and control theory, fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control, robotics, application of control theory to industrial systems and power systems. He has won some competitive research grants (ARC-DP, ARC-LP) to conduct his research interest.
So far, Hieu Trinh has published 1 research book, over 150 refereed journal papers. He has received over 2400 citations in Scopus with an h-index of 27.
