Biography
Jay Gul is an Associate Lecturer in Deakin Law School. Before joining Deakin University, Jay was a lecturer at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in the Hong Kong SAR, China. He has also held lecturer positions for other institutions in Hong Kong including the University of Northumbria Newcastle's (UK) Faculty of Business and Law via the School of Higher and Professional Education at the Hong Kong Vocational Training Council.
Jay's research has primarily been in the area of labour law in Hong Kong, and he is currently pursuing a PhD on the topic of "Law and Migrant Domestic Workers in Hong Kong" with Monash University in Melbourne. He studied an LLB at the University of London and completed an LLM Masters in Law via City University, London in the UK.
