Biography
Karen Guo is a senior lecturer in early childhood education. Prior to joining Deakin, Karen worked in the Federation University Ballarat, after 12 years of lecturing in New Zealand, with the most recent experience at Waikato University.
Karen has strong interests in multicultural early childhood education, cross-national studies and immigrant children and parenting. She is currently leading several cross-national research project, focusing on children's learning and learner identities both as individuals and in groups in Australia, Japan and China.
