Biography
Dr Lycett is an early career child health researcher. Her formal training in psychology and epidemiology (core Masters of Epidemiology subjects completed and PhD in Paediatrics provide a strong grounding for her research program, which spans air pollution, child mental health, wellbeing, cardiovascular health, obesity, sleep and societal progress.
Dr Lycett has expertise in paediatrics and non-communicable disease-related child health outcomes. Her fellowship, based within Australia's Child Health CheckPoint project, is examining the relationship between mental health and cardiovascular health in childhood and mid-life. She is also developing expertise in community-defined child wellbeing indicators that are designed to be embedded in government, and examining their potential to be included in GenV and therefore contribute to cross-over in findings between GenV and policy.
