Research interests
Dr Liam Kane is Lecturer in Military History in Deakin University's Centre for Future Defence and National Security embedded in the Australian Defence College, Canberra. Liam's research has focused on the Pacific during the Second World War; especially Australian-United States relation and military aviation in this theatre of war. More recently his interests have widened to include broader issues related to Australian defence policy and civil-military relations before and after the Second World War.
