Biography

Dr Micaela Spiers is the Course Director of the Bachelor of Commerce and a Lecturer specialising in Work Integrated Learning (WIL). Micaela has a passion for student engagement and the student experience. She has teaching experience across a wide range of disciplines including, marketing, work integrated learning and tourism management. Micaela has been the recipient of teaching awards and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).


Prior to academic, Micaela worked in the banking and telecommunications and engineering industries.
