Biography
Dr. Nateque Mahmood undertook his Ph.D. at the University of Tokyo, Japan and graduated in 2009. He completed his Master of Engineering in Construction Engineering and Infrastructure Management in 2006 from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand and BEng. (honours) degree in Civil Engineering in 2004 from Bangladesh University of Technology, Bangladesh
As a chartered professional civil engineer (leadership and management), Nateque has more than 13 years of experience in civil and residential constructions. He has published more than 30 journal and conference papers. Before joining Deakin University, he worked as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland. He had been involved in research at the University of Tokyo (Japan), CRC for Infrastructure and Engineering Asset Management (CIEAM), and Airport Metropolis Project (ARC Linkage) in Australia.
