Biography
Dr Negin Amini is a Research Fellow in the School of Engineering based at the Deakin University Waurn Ponds campus. She is a Chemical engineer and received her PhD from Monash University in 2019. Her thesis was titled "Microwave Assisted Pretreatment of Lignocellulose to Overcome Barriers to the Sugar Platform ". Currently, she is working in the ARC Centre of Excellence for Eco-Efficient Beneficiation of Minerals.
Her previous post-doctoral research project was funded by the International Fine Particle Research Institute (IFPRI). She investigated the application of various 3D printing technologies to advance our current understanding of complex particle shape behaviour.
