Biography
Nicole Larson is a Lecturer in the Department of Management in Deakin Business School. Nicole completed her PhD in Industrial Organisational Psychology at the University of Calgary in Canada.
Her program of research aims to advance the science and practice of high-performance teamwork. Within this domain, her work broadly focuses on team processes and emergent states, learning behaviour, individual differences and team composition, team assessment and training, and entrepreneurship. Additionally, her research adopts temporal theoretical perspectives to understand how team phenomena unfold over time. She publishes research in management, psychology, and education.
Nicole has applied experience in selection, performance management, and training. Additionally, she co-developed a free online assessment and training platform for teams (www.itpmetrics.com), and she applies her research by delivering evidence-based workshops and training to teams in various business sectors.
