Biography
Dr Patricia McLean, Senior Research Fellow (casual)
Dr Patricia McLean has extensive experience in higher education as an academic and senior administrator. Previous roles include Executive Officer to the Vice Chancellor (Deakin University); inaugural General Manager Grattan Institute, Manager of the Vice-Chancellor’s Strategy Office (University of Melbourne); Executive Director Academic Enrichment Programs, Director Language and Learning Programs (University of Melbourne, course coordinator Educational Psychology (RMIT and educational researcher (ACER). In 2005 she received a national Carrick Award for national leadership in creating outstanding policies and resources for students from diverse backgrounds. She is on the editorial Advisory Board of the Open University’s Widening Participation and Lifelong Learning journal.
