Materials chemistry of advanced composites; structure/property/durability relationships in engineering polymers and composites, toughening of composites, self-healing polymers and composites, high temperature resins, processing of thermoplastic composites via ring opening polymerisation; nano-composite and nano-structured materials; computational methods for crosslinked polymers; synthesis and characterisation of novel epoxy resins

Materials chemistry of advanced composites: Monomer synthesis and resin development for network polymers, high performance processable thermoplastic composites, self healing materials, toughening of composites, structure/property relationships in engineering and network polymers.
