Research interests

Her research spans a broad range of topics related to Robotics and Autonomous Systems (Autonomy, Decision Making, and Situational Awareness), the data-driven fields of Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.

Doctoral (PhD) and masters supervisions
For qualified candidates and interested in the following research areas, possibilities may exist to pursue Master by Research or PhD with Murdoch University. The research themes are:

  • Robotics and Autonomous Systems (Autonomy, Decision Making, Situational Awareness)
  • Highly-Demanded Autonomous Motion Planning and Navigation in a Complex and Uncertain Environment;
  • Synthesize and analysis of cooperative and non-cooperative robotics’ problems;
  • Formation planning of mobile robots considering vehicular and environmental constraints throughout their travel; 
  • Data Mining and Knowledge Processing.
  • Mission Planning; Mission Risk Assessment (Deliberative & Reactive mission Scheduling and Task Allocation)
  • Optimization Modelling and Decision Analysis

The Research Training Program (RTP) scholarships are funded by the Australian Government, while the Deakin University Postgraduate Research (DUPR) scholarships are funded by Deakin University. Both awards are available to domestic and international students. Only top-ranked applicants will be offered an RTP.
