Biography

Dr Vlado Vivoda is Senior Lecturer in Strategic Studies (Defence and Strategic Studies Course, Australian War College) at Deakin University. Prior to joining Deakin, Vlado held research positions at Griffith University and the University of Queensland. He has an extensive academic publication record on a broad range of topics that intersect international political and economic aspects of energy and minerals. His consulting work spans a diverse range of clients in the private and public sectors. He is also a regular media commentator.

In private life, he loves his family, friends, cats, dog, yoga, meditation, learning, classical and folk music, gourmet food, coffee, flowers, trees, plants, visual art, old architecture, cartography, history, numerology, fashion, beauty, travel, health, exercise, soccer, cooking, kindness and spirituality.
