Students will on average spend 150 hours over the trimester undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.
Online independent and collaborative learning activities including online content for each topic which is available on demand.
This unit will provide students with the theoretical foundation in Agile Project Management. Students will apply Agile methodology to complex projects and learn tools used to manage Agile projects. Agile project management is designed to facilitate such demands through early, measurable ROI with defiant, iterative product deliverables. The unit conveys the skills, tools and methodologies needed to successfully deliver project outcomes through agile project management. Students will learn the agile philosophy, how to differentiate traditional project management from agile project management and how to run agile projects. Further students will be exposed to the agile methodology by learning about stand up meetings, epics, user stories, estimation and story points, metrics and state-of-the-art agile software
