Students will on average spend 150 hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.
1 x 1 hour class per week, 1 x 2 hour practical per week
1 x 1 hour scheduled online class/workshop per week.
In SIT120 students will develop foundational knowledge of and basic skills related to responsive web app design and development. Students will learn basic networking protocols and fundamentals for web, HTML, CSS and advanced frameworks such as Vue in order to build web apps both for desktop and mobile devices. Students will develop an understanding of how web infrastructure, design and programming work together, as well as learn fundamentals of responsive and progressive web design and deployment.
