Students will on average spend 150 hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.
Online independent and collaborative learning including 1 hour weekly scheduled online seminars.
This unit aims to contribute to student understanding of four core parts of strategic staffing, namely: (1) the staffing context; (2) recruitment; (3) personnel selection; and (4) retention management. As we will see, these four parts each play a key role in facilitating the movement of talent into, through, and out of the organisation in a way that enables the organisation to compete successfully in its marketplace.
