Students will on average spend 150 hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.
1 x 3 hour class per week
11 x 3 hour classes (livestreamed with recordings provided)
This is a capstone project unit that will provide students with the opportunity to develop Business Analytics practice skills. The unit aims to provide students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience by working on an authentic large scale business problem from concept to solution under the guidance and direction of a specialised team of industry practitioners in Business Analytics.

Explain the application of a broad range of analytics tools and techniques in the practice of business analytics

Employ oral and written communication skills as well as teamwork strategies and skills to develop complex business analytics solutions within a team and convey findings to both specialists and non-specialists

These Unit Learning Outcomes are applicable for all teaching periods throughout the year
Assessment 1: Portfolio
(Individual and Group, group work no more than 50%)
The portfolio contains demonstration videos (both individual and group), business reports (both individual and report) and an individual reflection report.
