Content

Human Resource Practice introduces students to the concepts and theories surrounding the practice of human resource management, consisting of attraction, recruitment, selection, performance management and rewarding employees at work. Understanding the intricacies associated with workplace practise and employee performance is critical to the fundamental application of what Human Resource Management practitioners do in the workplace.  By participating in the unit, students will develop an important understanding of human resource practice to equip them with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to take into the workplace and for them to work effectively in the HR environment.
