Benefits
Cash payment of up to $5000 per year for up to two years.
The maximum total value of this scholarship is $10,000.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible you must:
- be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
- be enrolled in the Master of Landscape Architecture at Deakin University in Trimester 2 2020
- have a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 60 (in your current course for continuing students or in your previous studies for commencing students).
Conditions
As a scholarship recipient you:
- are required to write an introduction statement about your goals for study and what it means to receive the scholarship
- are required to complete a statement at the end of each year detailing how this scholarship has helped you with your studies
- must maintain a satisfactory academic record for the duration of your scholarship, with a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60
- must be prepared to attend a meet and greet with the donor
- cannot concurrently hold another scholarship of similar criteria.

You'll find out if you were successful usually within four weeks of the application closing date.
Additional opportunities
There may be an opportunity for you to undertake a work placement at Arcadia Landscape Architecture office located in Pyrmont NSW. The decision to accept any potential offer is yours and will not impact your eligibility to receive the scholarship.
