More about the donor
The Moore Family Scholarship was established in Warrnambool in 2009 to honour one of Warrnambool’s founding families. The commemorative access and equity scholarship pays tribute to the two Moore sisters, Isabelle and Marjorie, who trained as nurses at what was the Warrnambool Base Hospital, pre and post‐World War II. It provides the opportunity for a member of the Warrnambool or Western District community to take up the vocation of nursing and contribute to the well-being of the community as did Isabelle and Marjorie.
