Not only are credentials beneficial to your career, they can earn you credit towards postgraduate study at Deakin.
How it works
You can use the credentials to gain credit towards a Deakin University master's degree in two ways.
1. Recognition of prior learning towards a range of master's courses
Where course rules allow, we grant recognition of prior learning for up to two credit points of unspecified (elective) credit in certain master's degrees, such as the Master of Business Administration. This recognition of prior learning offer is available to anyone, including currently enrolled students.
2. Master's courses designed to incorporate credentials
We offer a small number of master's degrees that are especially designed to recognise the capabilities of experienced professionals. These master's degrees (and their nested graduate certificates and diplomas) incorporate a substantial number of credentials interwoven with traditional online units.
