Students will on average spend 150 hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.

Unit is taught face to face intensively in blocks during the trimester; that is, classes are not held on a weekly basis. Attendance is required at each extended hour seminar.
For students enrolled in this offering, attendance is required at the following seminars between 10.00am and 2.00pm each day (livestreamed with recordings provided.
The purpose of this unit is to examine the key elements in the formulation and implementation of international marketing strategy. The unit analyses the stages through which the firm moves in formulating its global strategy; initial entry; local market expansion; and global rationalisation. The formulation and implementation of strategy is discussed within the context of increasing interdependence of country markets and regional market integration, and the economic and cultural dynamics of different international markets.
Effectively interpret academic literature can contribute to the challenges and options available for organisations in achieving environmental sustainability. Investigate, review and report on a specific theoretical issue in environmental sustainability and report the results providing evidence and rationale.

Demonstrate an ability to audit the environmental status of an organisation by conducting an audit of the planning, practices and control mechanism in use to achieve environmental sustainability goals. The audit is structured to provide solutions through presenting recommendations and rationale for actions to assist in improving the environmental status of the organisation.
Differentiate between the various stakeholders in the field of sustainability and their links to management activities. Critique a variety of techniques for analysing an organisation's sustainability positioning. Provide an analysis of the sustainability management of an organisation or industry.
