Postgraduate study refers to an advanced level of study, beyond the level of an undergraduate degree. Some people choose to complete a postgraduate degree to change study or career paths entirely. No matter your level of study or interests, we have a postgraduate degree for you.
A graduate certificate is usually six months full time or part-time equivalent and designed to add practical and vocational skills to your undergraduate degree, diploma or previous work experience. A graduate diploma is one year full time or part-time equivalent and builds on a graduate certificate or work experience.
A masters by coursework programs is from 18 months to two years of full-time study. Many allow you to choose a specialisation. Studies are completed mainly through coursework, with a thesis or major project in the last part of the degree.
A masters by research program is two years full time and can lead to PhD studies. For a masters by research degree, you will be allocated a dedicated research supervisor.
From two to four years, PhD students conduct original research to progress in their chosen field. A PhD can help you to further a career in academia or reach higher levels in your job.
