Deakin's professional experience program gives you real-life teaching experience and study credit for your degree. You will undertake at least 60 days of placements, meaning your CV will be filled with practical know-how and sought-after skills that employers look for.

Graduate with confidence with a degree in education and teaching from Deakin. Our courses are developed in consultation with principals, teachers and educators. Graduates receive teacher qualifications which are professionally accredited by the Victorian Institute of Teaching. By studying a Bachelor of Education (Early Years), you will also be accredited by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACEEQA).
