Deakin Law School Mooting Program

Deakin Law School’s Moot Program provides law students with an opportunity to build skills in a simulated courtroom experience.

Benefits of the program

Develop your abilities in advocacy, persuasion, presentation and research, while deep diving into a particular area of law. Mooting is a great addition to your resume and helps to build a network with fellow students and practicing members of the legal profession.

Deakin provides coaching support and financial assistance to successful participants.

Student commitment

In general, students are expected to dedicate 3-5 hours a week on the problem – potentially more closer to the competition date.

How to apply

Please read through the selection criteria, application dates and conditions that apply to the following moots supported by the Deakin Law School Mooting Program. If you'd like more information, please email Deakin Law School.
