Alfred Deakin Prime Ministerial Library

Located in the beautiful Waterfront Campus, the Alfred Deakin Prime Ministerial Library (ADPML) features exhibits and resources dedicated to the life and achievements of Alfred Deakin. It also houses much of the Deakin Library Special Collection's 80,000+ titles. The collection is made up of specialised research and items that need particular care because of their age, beauty, rarity, fragility or for other qualities that make them exceedingly valuable.

Special Collection items may be requested and consulted within the ADPML reading room, where there is an open access genealogy collection and an exhibition gallery. An ongoing digitisation program has also made many Special Collection items available via Fusion, with new items being added all the time.
