Our campus is located on the Great Ocean Road, five minutes from local surf beaches and a two-hour drive from Geelong or Grampians National Park. Day trips to explore nearby coastal attractions, beaches and the local national parks are all possible for students living in Warrnambool.

Whichever option you choose, you’ll have your own furnished, private bedroom and free internet access. Accessible housing and preferences for quiet corridors are available. Residents can also request adjustments if required. We are currently accepting bookings for the following periods:

  • Trimester 1 and 2 2021 (8 February–15 November 2021).

Studio apartment

Warrnambool's self-contained studio apartments are all located in Hopkins View and give students a modern and supportive university experience. You'll have the opportunity to live in a self-contained studio apartment, while enjoying access to large communal kitchen spaces, a decking area with BBQ facilities, large common areas and lounge rooms, and multiple study halls – all under the one roof.

$212 per week – includes rent, utilities, programs and parking.

Lease length
40 weeks.

Availability
Available to Deakin University and South West TAFE students. All applicants must further meet eligibility criteria for the National Rental Affordability Scheme.

What’s in the room?
Bed, mattress protector, bookshelves, study desk and chair, TV, data point, built-in wardrobe, heater and fan, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette with electric cooktop, top-mount fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster.

Where do I do my washing?
There’s a communal laundry in Hopkins View. Washing machines, dryers and an ironing station are available to residents free of charge (laundry supplies not included).

Do I need cleaning equipment?
You can borrow a vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, and dustpan with brush from reception.

Our campus also has shared units available for students. These spaces are comfortably furnished, with each unit containing a kitchen, a large living and dining area, bathroom and laundry facilities. When you're not socialising with friends and roommates in the common areas, each bedroom has a lockable door for extra privacy.
