ADI Welcomes Dr Antonio Gonzalez Zarandona

In June, the Institute welcomed new Associate Research Fellow, Antonio Gonzalez Zarandona.

Antonio will be working with Dr Benjamin Isakhan on a new project measuring the destruction of cultural property in Iraq and Syria.

Antonio's research interests include art history, archaeology and heritage, and particularly the destruction of Murujuga, the largest archaeological site in the world. Before coming to Deakin, Antonio worked as a curator for the Melbourne Fringe Festival and as a Multimedia Designer at the National gallery of Victoria.
