Virtual business incubator
The Business Incubator requires students to scope out and develop a business opportunity. Though the program students be exposed to priorities for decision-making in the context of setting up an entrepreneurial venture. Along the way, students will be able to demonstrate their ability to research, evaluate information and consider the ethical and cultural implications of their business proposal. The program culminates in a final Pitch day, where students present their business proposal and participate in a pitch to potential stakeholders.
Over T2 2020, this program will take place over 7 weeks. The program will start in week 1 of the trimester and will run during the mid-trimester break.

The 4 hours session contains a combination of program tailored content and hands-on project work. These will take place on Thursday’s over Trimester 2 2020.
Note: the program also requires attendance to two 3-hour Masterclasses. Dates and times to be confirmed.
Who can apply?
This program is available to undergraduate and postgraduate students from the Faculty of Business and Law, who will take the experience under the following units:
- Undergraduate: MWL317 - Entrepreneurship Experience
- Postgraduate: MWL717 - Entrepreneurship Experience
