Legal Internship

What is Legal Internship?

Legal Internship (MLL351) is a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) unit worth 1 credit point, where students complete an internship with an external organisation for 15 days.

Diverse opportunities are available including different areas of law and types of placements (full time and part time). Please refer to the participating centres below for further information.

Please note: not all organisations participate in every trimester.

This unit is available in all trimesters and has a mandatory induction session prior to commencement.

Who can apply?

This unit is available to Bachelor of Laws students who have successfully completed 6 law (MLL coded) units, and have completed or are co-enrolled in MLL235 Legal Practice and Ethics.

Places are strictly limited. You must submit an application which is assessed by the WIL team, and internships are allocated in a competitive manner.
