Certificate IV in Fitness - Physical Activity Australia

Eligibility to register for equivalency at the level of Certificate IV in Fitness with Physical Activity Australia (PAA), is based on the successful completion of the core units listed below.

Evidence of completion of the following core business modules via an RTO (Registered Training Organisation) must also be supplied.

BSBSMB401A - Establish legal & risk management requirements of small business

BSBSMB403A - Market the small business

BSBSMB404A - Undertake small business planning

These modules can be undertaken through any RTO, however the following have been negotiated specifically for Deakin students via PAA:

Students are able to enrol in both the Exercise Science – ESSA sequence and Certificate IV in Fitness – Physical Activity Australia specialisations.

Note: This course is currently accredited as at the date of publishing. The eligibility of students for membership of the accrediting body is subject to meeting the requirements of ESSA. Deakin University makes no representation that students will meet those requirements.
