Sharing your work

You can share what you create in PebblePad with other people. You have control over who sees your work within PebblePad, what they can do with it and for how long they have access.

Sharing with individuals

To share your work with someone else, use the white 'I want to' button and select 'Share'. You can either share directly with one or more individuals using the 'Share with people' option - the people you share with do not need a PebblePad account for you to be able to share your work with them. You can choose whether you want each person to be able to leave a comment on your work or make a copy, and whether you want there to be a time-limit on how long they can view your work for. Note that if you share with someone 'for collaboration', they become a co-owner of your work and can edit, share and delete work - use this option carefully and rarely.

Sharing with the web

To obtain a URL that you can use to share your work with a group of people, click on 'I want to', select 'Share' and choose 'Share with web'. Again, you get to choose whether viewers can leave a comment and how long you can view your work for. The default setting is to hide your work from search engines so that people don't find it without you knowing - we recommend that you leave this option checked (so your work is hidden from search engines).

Checking and changing access

You can see which assets you have shared with people or with the web in your Asset store. If you have shared your asset, the 'shared with people' or 'shared with the web' icons next to the asset title will be bolded. You can click on these icons to check who you shared the asset with, and to delete those shares if you want to.
