Creating a COVIDSafe Deakin Together

Deakin is committed to maintaining the ongoing safety of our University community. A dedicated Campus Reactivation Group is working to manage and deliver approved on-campus activities, while maintaining the health and wellbeing of our staff, students and visitors.

It is important all visitors are aware of their individual commitment to ensuring Deakin remains a COVIDSafe environment for everyone.

COVIDSafe Training Module

This training module has been developed to provide an overview of how you can contribute to a COVIDSafe campus and what to do in the event of a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19.

Visitors are encouraged to complete the training below.

Checking in

When you visit Deakin, you’ll need to check in via the Service Victoria QR code signage each time you enter a building, or change levels within a building – no matter how long you intend to stay.

This attendance recording process is a Victorian Government requirement and will assist in the event you might be at risk of COVID-19 infection and contact tracing is required.

Where a unique Service Victoria QR code is displayed, simply scan with your mobile phone camera and follow the prompts. You can also check in via manual check in kiosks located at the Security offices at all campuses. Simply visit Security when you arrive on campus and supply them with your name, contact number and building locations.
