Category 3 at Deakin includes special consideration for those living or studying with a disability or medical condition. This includes any learning, physical, sensory, psychiatric or mental health medical condition, illness or disability.

How to apply
SEAS applications for Trimester 1 2021 study have now closed.
To apply for VTAC SEAS Category 3, submit a SEAS application form via VTAC after lodging your course application. As part of your special consideration application, you’ll be asked to provide evidence of your disability or medical condition. This will include:
- a short description of the medical condition or disability, including the nature and duration of the condition
- an impact statement detailing how the medical condition or disability has impacted your studies
- a supporting statement from a responsible health practitioner who understands your condition and can comment on the impact it’s had on your life and studies.
