All Social Software sites are currently unavailable. The issue has been identified and will be resolved shortly.
DSO Outage (7/11/08)
DSO - Blackboard will be unavailable on Friday November 14th between 6pm and midnight as we resolve the current issue that has caused some users to experience slowness when attempting to upload files.
Social Software will also be unavailable during 6pm and midnight on Friday November 14th.

DSO is currently experiencing periods of slowness causing some users long delays when attempting to upload files.

iLecture will be unavailable on Monday September 29 between 10am and 8pm.

Second semester access to units (02/07/08)
Second semester lectures begins on Monday 21 July 2008. Student access to most second semester units will be activated on Monday 7 July, 2008. Please note that you may not have access to all of your units in DSO until the official start of semester, 21 July 2008.
iLecture outage (27/06/08)
iLecture will be unavailable between 8am on Saturday June 28 and 8pm on Sunday June 29, and between 5:30pm on Tuesday July 1 and 4am on Wednesday July 2.. The outage is required for routine maintenance.

eLive! upgrade (23/06/08)
eLive! will be unavailable between 5pm on Friday June 27th and 9am on Monday June 30th 2008. The outage is needed to facilitate an upgrade to eLive and will not affect any other DSO applications.
Turnitin outage (27/06/08)
Turnitin will be unavailable on Saturday June 28 between Midday and 4pm. The outage is required for routine maintenance.
iLecture outage (26/06/08)
iLecture will be unavailable on Thursday June 26th between 5:30 and 6pm. This will only effect users who wish to log into the server and not those who are streaming or downlaoding lectures during this period.
Blackboard Maintenance Window (01/05/08)
Blackboard will be unavailable for a brief period between 7:00pm-11:00pm on Tuesday 6 May, 2008.
Turnitin Unavailable (1/04/08)
Due to database maintenance and upgrade, Turnitin will be unavailable between 2am and 12pm on Sunday April 6th, 2008.
eLive! Outage (1/04/08)
A Time Zone update is being applied to eLive causing the service to be unavailable between 5 - 5:30pm on Tuesday April 1st, 2008.
iLecture interruption (28/3/08)
This is to advise that iLecture will be unavailable from 8:00am to 10:00am on Saturday 29 March, 2008 while preventative maintenance is undertaken.
Blackboard Outage (16/03/08)
Blackboard will be unavailable for a brief period between 9:00-10:00am on Tuesday 25 March, 2008.
First semester access to units (24/1/08)
First semester begins on 3 March 2008 by which time all first semester units will be available in DSO. Student access to most first semester units will be activated on Monday 18 February, 2008.
Please note that you may not have access to all of your units in DSO until 3 March.
iLecture interruption (18/1/08)
This is to advise that iLecture will be unavailable periodically during the hours of 8:00-11:00 am on Saturday 2 February, 2008. Facilities Services Management Division will be conducting tests of the power supply to the system and this will cause periodic power interruptions during this period.
Deakin Internet Outage (10/01/08)
All Deakin internet sites, including DSO, will be unavailable for about 5 minutes as the main Deakin internet link (AARNet) is being upgraded between 7:00am to 8:00am Saturday 12 January.
Java 1.6 will be supported after January 22nd 2008 (10/01/08)
Java 1.6 is currently supported for DSO, however it will be supported after DSO is upgraded on Tuesday 22nd January 2008. Please do not update to Java 1.6 until after this date.
