How to set your local time zone in Blackboard

Quick guide for Students

You can use My Tool Options to customize settings to your local time zone. This means that the assignment or assessment due dates and times will be displayed to you with a submission cutoff time in your local time.

Setting your local time zone

1. Click on My Settings in the top right-hand corner.
2. Click on My Tool Options
3. Select your local time zone in the My Time Zone drop-down list.
4. Click Save.

Note: It is the student's responsibility to check that the new local time showing at the top is correct before relying on it, as changes to the local rules, such as the use of daylight saving may affect the correct time appearing.
